Expectant Kim Joo-hyung, misfire at the last minute… 6th place, 4 strokes over winner Jon Ram

Korean men’s professional golf hopeful Kim Joo-hyung (21) had a last-minute chase, but gave the championship to Yon-Rahm.

Kim Joo-hyung also caught birdies on the 11th, 16th, and 17th holes, but it was not enough to chase the lead.

Kim Joo-hyung tied for 5th in the Sentry Tournament of Champions in the first tournament of the new year, and entered the top 10 for the second time in three tournaments held this year. Kim Joo-hyung escaped the shock of missing the cut at the Sony Open last week thanks to the good performance of this tournament.

The championship was won by Jon Rahm (Spain). Jon Rahm lifted the championship cup with a final 27 under par. Yon Rahm reached the top for the second time in the new year after the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Jon Rahm won his 9th PGA Tour victory.

Seongjae Lim tied for 18th with a 20-under par, and Si-woo Kim tied for 22nd with a 19-under par. Ahn Byeong-hun was tied for 41st with a 15-under par.
