After paying a funeral at a park cemetery to celebrate Chuseok, an elderly안전놀이터 couple who was riding down the road fell from a downhill road and died.
According to the police, at around 9:30 a.m. on the 19th, a car going down a downward curve at Cheonan Park Cemetery in Gwangdeok-myeon, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do left the road and crashed into the cemetery.
An elderly couple in their 80s who were in the car died at the scene in this accident.
The vehicle fell 70 meters away from the road and was damaged beyond recognition.
As a result of the investigation, it was reported that the elderly couple suffered an accident while visiting their deceased father’s grave ahead of the holiday.
The vehicle’s black box was old, so it was impossible to check the video, and there was no closed-circuit ( CC ) TV nearby .
The police are investigating the details of the incident, believing that the driver’s driving was negligent due to carelessness or sudden health problems.
A police official said, “With Chuseok approaching, there are a lot of people visiting graves, and parks and cemeteries are steep, so be especially careful about driving safely.”
