A woman was caught by Chinese customs while trying to bring in안전놀이터 20 animals, including live snakes and centipedes, hidden in her body.
Chinese media outlet Global Times reported on the 10th (local time) that a female tourist was recently caught by customs in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, while trying to smuggle in 20 live animals, including 15 snakes, 4 centipedes, and 1 lizard.
Customs officials found the woman’s tight clothing and unnatural gait to be unnatural and conducted further investigation. As a result, it was revealed that the woman had several animals hidden around her waist, chest, and pockets.
According to customs, the 20 species of creatures attempted to be smuggled were all exotic species, including 9 species of king snakes, 6 species of hognose snakes, 4 species of Peruvian yellow-legged centipedes, and 1 species of lizard.
